Buy your meat gameday at Inboden's Meat Market in DeKalb and you always have a good day of grilling.

I didnt care for the HASF tent or its food.. too crowded, no refills on food, and only beer.. So we are skipping it this year(unless we get lazy)

I completely agree with you. Food is not great and it's prepared for a large crowd (hence, not all that tasty). However, since I already paid for it as part of my donation, I'll gladly take it. Yes, it is very crowded in the tent and it's often a scramble for seats. If the Fatty's tent is not crowded (fat chance), maybe I'll sneak in there. At least in the HASF tent, the beer is freely flowing. And, it's served by very cute coeds in tight shorts or jeans (and sometimes constricting tops), who will extend their smile for a nice tip. Unfortunately, I can't leave a large tip 03-weeping, but I am well able to throw a few bucks into their (tip) kitty.

Another great option from Inboden's is their Pig Roast! Can't go wrong with that!

When my wife and I get to the HASF tent there is nary a seat to be found. We will sooner grab something inside the stadium and enjoy it at our seats.

True. And I assume it will be a lot worse on Saturday with the projected sellout.

I am not a big beer fan, and when my wife is standing next to me, it makes for long car rides home if i stare to long05-nono

That's okay. We'll gladly take the sellout. I can't wait to once again see a jam packed Huskie Stadium!

When I get to DeKalb I almost always save my appetite for World Famous Pizza after the game, but the last time I came down from the Cities I loaded my trunk with cheapass Minneapolis beer and traded it for food.

"Here, have a Grain Belt. It's a very famous beer."

Suckers. It's not a good beer.

Grain Belt?! Don't they use that to clear out colons prior to a colonoscopy? I also heard that they use it in northern Minnesota to clean out septic tanks.

For a long time, there was a tavern in Park Ridge (IL) that had a Grain Belt sign outside.

The pregame meal for my friends and I is usually an order of cheese nuggets and a beef roll. I love to grill, but knowing I can just show up and order these delicacies is too enticing.
