Travel to Mt. Pleasant (CMU)
With both Michigan (at UConn) and Michigan State (at Notre Dame)on the road, traveling thru Ann Arbor and Lansing to Mt. Pleasant should be realitive easy this Saturday.

Directions out of Toledo:
US-23 north past Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti to I-96 (Brighton){exits left lane!!!}
I-96 west to US-127 (Lansing/East Lansing)
US-127 north to Mt. Pleasant
Take Business US-127 before reaching Mt. Pleasant
Campus and Stadium will be on left side.

Tailgating isn't likely. Besides the game I mean. Anything in town or the area?

I realize I am getting old, but I did not realize that they paved the roads to Mt Pleasant.

You pass "Uncle John's" or "Big John's" or "something like that" Cider Mill on the way to Mt Pleasant. There is also the Soaring Eagle Casino.

Other than that we usually stay with a friend in Lansing.

Sure. They roads get another layer of tar & stone every 10 years whether they need it or not.

While travelling up 127 be careful in Clinton County. Those sheriff deputies have nothing better to do than to pull people over.

Decided not to take the Jambulance, too much money for too little tailgating (and potential for damage).

Driving up in our car, no spare seats unfortunately.

In violation of the "It's Never Too Early to Tailgate" manlaw we porobably won't be pulling into Mt Pleasant until close to 11:00 AM. Probably head directly into the stadium.
