Is ticket scalping legal in DeKalb?

I was not living in the state at that time, but are those stories of severe ISU fan mistreatment true from that game?

Never heard of such a thing, whats the skinny? (besides on the football field mistreatment )

When we played at Iowa State in 2010 reports of an NIU fan's car being damaged. In 2003 the Iowa State fans who came to NIU were fine. A few set next to us and we had plenty of laughs.

Ticket scalping? Maybe I'll sell my tickets outside the stadium and just hang out with all the tailgaters who tailgate throughout the games. If any of you are on this board and will be streaming ESPN3.com, please let me know. I'll bring the sausage and a case of beer!

I've never seen anyone selling tickets outside. I've had a ton of people willing to give their extras away just so that someone uses their ticket.

I doubt DeKalb knows what ticket scalping is. Or if they did, they've forgotten.

Prior to our game in Ames in 2010, Iowa State fans on cyclonefanatic.com posted multiple accounts of vehicles being vandalized in DeKalb in 2003. Just sayin'.

From what I heard, inside the stadium too it was bad, probably not the best day for NIU fans. Sounds like some pretty brutal treatment of Iowa State fans that day. Not to make excuses, but that game was really at the height of Huskie-mania

Tickets for the Maryland game were scalped. I have no intention to, but I am guessing one could make money this weekend.

In 2003 we did not yet have season tickets and had planned to buy some when we got to the stadium. Someone who saw us standing in line to buy just gave us 3 tickets and saved me $60 or $75. I really was thankful.

I've never seen anyone trying to sell tix...people just give them to others from what I've seen...so far anyway! lol
