USA Today magazine predictions:
1. Georgia State
2. Western Kentucky
3. South Alabama
4. Arkansas-Little Rock
5. Louisiana
6. Arkansas State
7. Troy
8. Texas-Arlington
9. Texas State
10. ULM

Pretty much my picks, but I'd switch WKU and GaState. On the other hand, Harper doesn't care much about the regular season. He just likes to win the tourney. It does appear that ever prediction I've seen is consistent on the Top 6 and Bottom 4 teams.

Real question to me is, do any of these magazines really do their "homework" when it comes to leagues like the Belt? On hand I doubt it. On the other hand, the fact that they all don't just pick WKU makes me think they put some slight amount of thought into it.

If that comes true, there are going to be some pissed off ASU fans. Hell they might even do something drastic like, fire their coach. Ours would get another lifetime extention and a $10 raise. Would have been larger, but I've heard that we're kinda strapped for cash at the moment.

The magazines will tend to be more impressed than we would because of Ga State transfer. We remember NT. Say "Kentucky" to the national media and they start to drool.

I think that is certainly part of it. But they have most everybody back and I think their coach is a good one.

I'm really expecting this to be a pretty good year this year for both our Mens and Ladies.

Regular season, shake the top five up in a sack and pick whoever falls out first. Tournament - pick WKU.

I would almost always take the field in a postseason tournament. But, I'm not sure I wouldn't take even odds right now on WKU winning the tourney. They have most of their team back and their coach just seems to be a great tournament coach. Not sure what the secret to that is, but he seems to know it.

From the way it stacks up, looks like we're the Western Division Champs again. I would assume Georgia State would be in the Eastern Division along with Western and USA, assuming there were divisions. Personally, I will not be satisfied with a fourth place finish this season again with the talent we have coming back and coming in. That just wouldn't be getting the job done.

GState is as good a pick as anyone this year, but knowing how the media thinks (or perhaps how little they think), I assume that they just look at "Kentucky transfer" and calculate that he will make hash of us Belt lowlife.

I'm excited to have them in the league- Not so excited about them being more talented than us their first year in. If they keep their coach they will be a force to be reckoned with in the league. While their is a lot of competition in Atlanta, there's a ton of basketball talent in the area as well.

Pappy, I think the media is picking them based on rj hunter not the transfer. Hunter is a potential lottery pick. He is a taller version of stephon curry. His range is once he passes half court.
