Gasp, I can't believe I'm agreeing with a bird brain (roadrunner) but he's right. A concoction with flour tortillas are called "burritos" ever since I can remember and I've been around longer than some of you.

Let me "learn" you guys something: A flour tortilla with whatever inside is a burrito. A corn tortilla that is rolled is a flauta. A flat corn tortilla is a tostada. A corn tortilla in a bowl shape is a chalupa. A folded corn tortilla is a taco.

As for flour tortillas, ah, what memories. I remember as a boy coming home and smelling the aroma of them being flattened on that comal by my mother and getting a warm one and smearing it with butter. What a simple magnificence. She would make a whole stack of them and they'd be gone by the next day and back to making them she would go. Until they started selling them in the stores and would send us to buy a dozen of what she called "fake tortillas". Ha, ha.

By the way havent you heard we moved off chicken and are now on burgers. I purchased a Rowdy Burger at Sonic and got 6 tickets, a colder holder (or a koozie for you UTEP folk), a car flag, 2 shirts (orange/blue), sideline pass for game of my choice, ticket for free beer at dome, UTSA golf tees and a Coach Coker FatHead for my wall.
