Very few schools are successful in capitalizing on their flashes of success. It is incredibly important to upgrade the program while the water is hot.

this one's funny but I still think his rants/pouts/*******/moans/whatever you want to call it columns after we beat them are funnier! LOL

Landon is horrible. He acts like the two runs to start the possession were the reason they didn't win. He doesn't mention that the possession started on the Marshall 8 and that the first run was for 13 yards. He also doesn't mention that they had been running ball well up to that point. And you know that if Marshall had gone into "gun slinger" mode he would have ripped Marshall a new one for not playing smart. Marshall's problem was not play selection. It is and always is execution. They are the Tony Romo of the college football world. They put up great numbers and convince everybody that they are all-world talented but their collective sphincters tighten up en masse when the lights are the brightest.

maybe in I-AA but that's it. and I think national brand even in I-AA is stretching it.

Well, they certainly were more relevant during the IAA glory years and MAC days....they were in bowl games, had players like Moss, Pennington, and even finished #10 in the rankings one year.

A brand of janitorial wear, perhaps?
