At least all golds would be uniforms of a team color...not sure when black became a team color...they looked ridiculous...how about we just go orange and brown or scarlet and gray since apparently we dont care about tradition anymore...

and getting back on topic, were there highlights from saturday...cause all I saw were a whole lot of soft passing coverage and the same 5 offensive plays we see all game/season/last 3 years. I will say one thing...we do have the slowest no-huddle offense in history, so thats something. All that said, it was great to get that first win of the year...GO ROCKETS

Our offense isn't necessarily supposed to be fast. The no-huddle aspect of it is to prevent the D from substituting players, and giving out coaching staff time to see their defense/personnel and call a play they think works best. I don't necessarily like it, but that's why.

Yeah, I'm with you, I understand what they are doing but I don't like it either. I'd prefer that they quickly run the next play instead of waiting for the play clock to get down inside of 4 seconds.

Think about it, the longer our offense sits there the longer the defense has to prepare. A faster paced offense keeps defenses off balance because they barely have enough time to line-up let alone respond to the formation the offense is in.

Our O at least needs a rule that they can't change the phat l play with me than :10 on the play clock. That either results in a delay of game penalty, or a rushed play.

I understand that completely, its just frustratiung to watch a "no huddle offense" get delay of game calls and burn TOs...just feels wrong...as always though, Ill ignore the misgivings if it produces enough wins :)

My view in the EWU game is the longer the clock runs with the Rocket offense on the field the longer Vince Adams sits on the bench.

I just deleted a few words here and there, kinda like a Blade reporter does with an interview (my experience with that goes back almost 30 years)
