Turnover problems
Mickey will go off the deep end during practice this week and find ways to run plays that have .0001% chance of a turnover.
The Dukes have been horrible this year with 8 turnovers to the opponents' 3. That is a recipe for disaster and a losing season if it doesn't change.
Will Mickey get it fixed? Sure, but he doesn't have another viable option at QB. He has to find a way to get the message to Birdsong without having the leverage of a benching. Crawley-Lambert probably won't put on his chinstrap the rest of 2013 and that should fix the fumbles.

Speaking of turnovers, when was the last time JMU had 4 turnovers in a game prior to yesterday?
That's correct... 25 games ago during the 2nd game of 2011 vs CCSU and that was an equally ugly win. JMU went on to be a playoff team after that poor showing and this year's team is good enough to do the same if it can maintain possession of the ball.

Turnover problems
Running back with a jacked thumb and a qb that sat out of practice all week didn't help

This. MM took the blame in his post-game presser for playing Lambert with a thumb that won't let him hold onto the ball with both hands, and said Lambert won't play again until he's fully healed.

4 of those were Lambert fumbles.
Birdsong did suck Sat with 3 picks, but in his defense he didn't practice all week with the banged up shoulder and wearing the boot, and were missing the top 2 receivers (DeAndre Smith and Q Hunter).
