RE: Go Bama
Nobody had this game chalked up as an automatic win

And while Manziel had 2 bad plays, the D had 4 quarters of bad plays that led to 30 Bama points a d their bad play was a direct result of their selfishness hurting the team.

Meh they kind of deserve each other...

I too am glad that Bama won though it has nothing to do with that QB. I just really dislike A&M due to past dealings with their alumni. It was like they were trying to be unfriendly and obnoxious.

RE: Go Bama
Sorry you had a bad experience

The Bama fans in CS had a great experience overall and have dubbed us "the anti-LSU"

High praise indeed 03-wink

I was impressed with Manziel, especially in the air, and I am not a fan. I can't wait for LSU to play both.

RE: Go Bama
Here's what's interesting:
#1 Alabama gives up 42
#4 Ohio St. gives up 34 to an unranked team
#6 A&m give up 49

The offenses seem to have gotten a big advantage over the defenses compared to even a couple of years ago.[/u]

Texas A&Ms defense was responsible for that loss, they are absolutely horrible. Johnny and that offense did everything to keep them in it but you knew that defense would keep them out of it.

That's cute!

My best friend graduated from A&M. He's a 2%er$( do T-shirts like you understand that term) but still loves the ags and I told him on Friday that I hoped Alabama would win. His poor wife was upset with that. I was told I should root for the aggies because they are a Texas team. 01-wingedeagle

I LOL'ed as Alabama kicked the crap out of aggy. Hey SEC, SEC SEC, no take backs, you got em and you can keep em

Pot meet kettle04-cheers

I admit to being extremely happy when johnny autograph and the 87K at gomer pyle field walked out a loser.

I'm especially happy when t-shirt fans get slapped in the face.

People are happy Johnny lost because they see it as getting his come uppance for not being humble...and yet what REALLY cost us this game was the selfishness of our starting D who had to sit out until tonight and played like absolute dog crap because of it and could not stop Bamas running game....but the loss and blame is laid at the hands of Johnny for being arrogant.

Interesting
Without 2 bad plays by Manziel, A&M wins. So it's on him, even with the bad defense...

However, losing to the #1 team isn't that big a deal, unless you're A&M, and had already chalked this game up as a win due to last year's outcome...

Sorry but I disagree. Alabama kicked the crap out of aggy and imposed their rushing will in the 2nd half. Autograph made the game interesting but they had no shot.

It will be interesting to see if 2013 Bama-aggy can break the 08 Texas-Texas Tech Houston TV ratings. I have no doubt Texans across this state went absolutely crazy when aggy lost.

I think Manziel was very mature in how he handled losing at the end. He's not this destructive prick that destroys his own team when he doesn't get his way. He's probably a good locker room influence as well.

People don't like him for the same reasons that they didn't like the showboating and arrogance that "the U" displayed in the 80s and 90s. Personally, I'm starting to the like the guy - even thought the politically correct crowd in football wants to destroy him.

His teammates seem to like him. That is really all he should concern himself with when it comes down to it.

I don't want to destroy Manziel. But I would like to see him grow up. He was getting publicity for all the wrong reasons in the preseason, and some of his actions on the field since haven't helped his image any...

He needs to learn that when you're in the public eye, the attention never wavers, and any stupid actions on his part are magnified in the lens of public opinion. And the public is very fickle, and very unforgiving...

Barry Horn tweeted that A&M-Bama drew a 17.3 in Houston. Similar number in Dallas. 24.0 in Austin!

Beat the Tech-UT 2008 ratings by a comfortable margin.
