DePaul will host the league tournament in 2014 at Allstate Arena


As part of the BIG EAST’s new partnership with FOX Sports, 13 regular-season games will be televised on Fox Sports 1, which reaches nearly 90 million homes across the nation. FOX also will televise the semifinals and finals of The BIG EAST Championship, which will be held March 10-11 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. Two additional games will be televised by CBS Sports Network.

“We look forward to establishing a new tradition of excellence in women’s basketball in the BIG EAST, and the national exposure afforded by our agreement with Fox will play a key role,” said BIG EAST Commissioner Val Ackerman. “We have terrific coaches and student-athletes to showcase, and Fox’s regular season and postseason game coverage will allow us to bring exciting competitions and compelling stories to our fans.”

This is the one sport that will be ravaged by the departing teams. 5/8 NCAA teams gone, including 3 final 4 teams. St John's, Villanova, and DePaul should be the class. Creighton made tourney at large last year and lost to Tennessee in the 2nd round(rd of 32, womens tourney doesn't have the first 4 games round).

It's gonna be weird seeing Big East women's hoops w/o UConn...

Yeah, I hate having to wait 2-3 seasons to see them back in the league

i havent seen the predictions for order of finish in wbb. has anyone else?
