Very sad to see, they said he was making the best progress possible in a recent article. Almost was going to be able to drive again.

With a little help from the voters, the HUSKIES could move up to #25. They should already pass Nebraska and TCU. Then they will pass the loser of Wisconsin at Arizona State and Ole Miss at Texas. All they would need is for the voters to move the HUSKIES ahead of postponed Fresno State.

It would be nice to be ranked for the home opener.

They need to wake up and put Idaho away. A close win at Idaho won't impress any pollsters! Hopefully just some bye week rust.

RE: Week 3 poll watching
Let's forget about the polls and take each game as it comes. We overlooked Idaho and almost lost. In a way, it may help us. Stomping Idaho may have lead to complacency against EIU, which is no cakewalk.

Congrats to Idaho for a hard fought game.

I still fell bad for the ZIPS' one stinking yard was all they needed.

Washington has a self-destruct button they're fond of hitting but they have a ton of talent. There's a reason they crushed Boise State. But they'll beat themselves at least once this year.

RE: Week 3 poll watching
I'm REALLY hoping that after this game we can finally stop talking about:

1) Lynch for Heisman
2) Undefeated season
3) BCS bowl
4) Rankings

Let's just talk about winning. If we run the next 7 games or so, THEN we can start talking about that stuff.

We'll have to play a lot better to beat EIU, even at home.

Yes. We were a little cocky after Iowa and got ahead of ourselves. That's the curse of not being used to losing.

Let's go for the Mac championship and whatever happens, happens.

At least, for those of us that haven't been watching NIU for a couple decades or more. I always felt a little uncomfortable with the rankings and BCS talk with so little to base it on.

I'd probably view it that way too, when it comes to voting for Top 25.
