EE is a fool, who's school is currently the owner of the country's longest losing streak. The last thing EE needs to be worrying about is all the star power at LA Tech.

he's not a USM fan regardless of his name

HD this is not a USM vs Tech deal. EE has some major problems of his own.

I concur with that. Like most LA Tech fans, I like USM, and i believe they are the class of the conference. I feel sorry for their current W-L situation. But EE is still an old fool.

My comments are based on the fact that over the years, the old Metro merging to form Cusa, we have had as members teams such as South Carolina, Va Tech, Louisville, Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, and on and on. Not until they left and we start bringing in teams like La Tech from Dogpatch do we see a program bragging about who will be in attendance. Call it what you will.

It's impossible that star power of this magnitude has EVER been to the games of those schools you list above. We are talking about arguably the 2 greatest QBs of all-time. Maybe Notre Dame or Alabama can boost of that, but I doubt it.

Will they be on the sidelines opposite each other or sitting with LG in air conditioning?

Congrats to La Tech for having him as a former player and having him attend.

The DD guys are a hot item on the speaking circuit. Our men's group at church has a large annual breakfast that has a guest speaker. We've had some recognizable speakers in Gene Stallings, Dan Reeves, some local players/church member that were starters on current year Super Bowl winners, etc.

Because the DD guys have a great testimony to share, we contacted them to have them speak; but they were significantly out of our price range.

You are right. We advertise Terry Bradshaw, TV celebrities, and a visiting Joe Montana, and recently South Carolina advertised to alumni and students that the first 7000 students into the game get free towels.

Every school does promotions for their fans and students.

I am sure that a free towel giveaway would attract and draw additional Tech fans to a game there in Dogpatch. However, other schools hand them out routinely, in fact they are in big open boxes whereby one can be taken as they enter. Its more of a "get there early and receive one" rather than come to the game and get one free. All depends on your upbringing.

You might be talking to yourself EE as most all of the TECH people are probably at the game.

Man you should hope not, that crowd is pitiful. Cameras dont lie. Most shots are of the field or student section. Whenever camera pans the area following a play you can see the East side is less than half full, West side maybe half. 15,000 max and if thats all the Tech people then Dogpatch has troubles.

I think Ruston has around 25K population. Pretty hard to fill that stadium on a Thursday night there. No reason to be a dick about it...man. The fans that were there seemed enthusiastic.
