I'd recommend going to Bel-Air mall and taking the shuttle behind Target/JC Penny. It's $2.50 round trip and probably the easiest way in and out of the stadium anyway.

I'm sure the friendly neighborhood drug dealer would let WKU use his yard for a price.

No offense, but if we drop this game, there is no way that we get to a BCS bowl. It is near impossible right now. 11-1 out of the SBC is going to be tough, especially if Fresno or Utah St also go 11-1.
A BCS Bowl?

IT was a very VERY optimistic SOME WKU fans had.

I was not one of them. Even if we destroyed every team on our schedule and went 12-0, I wouldn't even expect to be RANKED, let alone get into a BCS bowl.

You have officially lost it...

At 12-0, with ASU, ULM, TROY (don't call me STATE), Navy/Army, UT, and ULL all potentially being bowl teams. We would have a shot at getting to #16 and beyond. The biggest obstacle will be getting past the MWC teams BSU and FSU. It could have been done, and still can be. We just need a few breaks.

I don't see half the teams you mentioned being bowl teams. And if they are, very low end bowl teams.

FWIW. .. I will be highly disappointed if we dont bounce back, play well, and win handily. That is no disrespect to USA.

While WKU has the potential to embarrass USA, I will point out that USA played pretty well against Gus Malzahn's offense last year; we played them down to an onside kick. I'm not predicting a win, but I think that we keep it respectable.

unless petrino can turn off the turnovers like a faucet.....and i've never seen a turnover prone team do that.....it'll be more than respectable.... it'll be a loss.

the offense can score. but the team that loses the turnover battle generally loses.
we have more 'talent' than we've ever had. but that's for naught if you keep your dee on the field all game.

Just looking over South Alabama's scores from last year I have to say that I don't think they are going to get blown out of any Sun Belt game unless they just have an off night. It wasn't that long ago that WKU was in that place of coming close so many times but not quite getting over the hump.

USA has gotten a lot of talented players and there could be a point either this season or next where it just clicks for them.

I think this will be a tough game.

they are 1-1. Games with Temple, Wake, Air Force, Hawaii, Navy, E Michigan, BC, and La Tech.

I see 5 possible wins in their remaining schedule.

This could be a perfect storm for USA and not in a good way. WKU was embarrassed last weekend against Tennessee and not because Tennesse was better, it was because WKU beat themselves. I have a gut feeling that the WKU offense will handcuff the ball to themselves the whole game and the defense plays extremely aggressive. I respect USA and I'm very impressed with them , especially as young of a program they are, but WKU will be out for blood after last week and USA is the sacrificial lamb I'm afraid.

WKU is overconfident and overlooks the upstart and USA is out to prove itself. USA wins by two TD's.

Nice try. After last week WKU will not be over confident and BP is very aware of the importance of this game.

Staying in Daphne is a great idea. I'd eat at one of the causeway seafood joints if I were a visitor but that's just me.

Are you planning on doing anything else fun while in town? Have you been to the battleship?

WKU pulls it off. Barely.

I understand some tongue in cheek here but I listened to the game on XM radio and turned it after like the first quarter thinking you guys were committing suicide or something.....then got back just before half.....honestly think you guys are going to be tough if you just don't lose it by becoming snake bit....Tennessee was prime for you but never gave yourselves a chance.
