When we beat the pretender pirates in November it will be 3-3 the last 6 meetings. I have never witnessed a more self absorbed delusional group in all my life. It's sad they put so much into a Pirate win. Says something for sure.

I'll be glad when the stupid ECU/Marshall talk is over. Nobody on this ******* board will have a damn thing to do with the outcome of that game.

Amen to that brother!!!! This thread was a huge disappointment to read because of all the meaningless trash. Yeah, I know it's just a small number of posters on both sides, but it is more than irritating. Why don't we both just support each other and when we hopefully meet in Huntington for all the marbles, hopefully for an east championship, we'll have an identical record. then if you want to talk trash do it, but give us a break in the meantime.

So... beating one of the worst teams in the nation... followed by beating a D2 squad from Boiling Springs NC... = Class of the league? If this is the truth, what an effing absymal, terrible league.

(Because I know thundering turd fans will immediately throw out ECU's first 2 games, I'm obligated to address them)

We are 2-0. God, I hope y'all are undefeated when we play you, but there is zero chance of that. You will be exposed very soon, just as we probably will. But ECU is Marshall's daddy, no matter how you slice it. The turds from WV never be on our level. History says as much. Take as many ex-con NQ's as you want... the nation sees it, and you STILL don't win anything. A big 0'fer since joining C-USA, even with the best O and D in history (every year according to Turd fans).

I'm sick of it. Marshall is a fart in the wind. You might notice it for a second, but then poof, it's gone.

We'll never be on your level?....lol. Exactly what level is that you are talking about? You have a losing record in bowl games.....you have less overall conference championships than we do......you have 20 All-Americans vs our 44.......you've never finished a season ranked while we have on multiple occasions.....not to mention our undefeated season when we finished 10th in the country. We've had 3 Heisman trophy candidates through the years compared to your one (Jeff Blake). All of those facts but yet its us that's not on a comparable level???....... And talking about NQ's?.....you guys have taken many NQ's through the years. You have several on your team right now.

Boo hoo you big baby. Your post reeks of Jealousy..... And I love it.

Based on that, he's right. We're not on their level.. we're way above it. 04-rock

03-shhhh how dare you speak such logic!! 05-nono

But seriously, I honestly thought Miami might actually give us a game. I was wrong. I was honestly slightly disappointed we didn't hang 70 on GW. But imo, these were tune-up games for next week against OU when we will really see what this team is made of.

Get over it ladies, you a no more important to the college football world than the rest of us. That, and your new league is proving to be a joke! Hahahahaha!

How do you figure...Looks like your math is off a little here.

2008 ECU 19, Marshall 16 (OT) H
2009 ECU 21, Marshall 17 A
2010 ECU 37, Marshall 10 H
2011 Marshall 34, ECU 27 (OT) A
2012 ECU 65, Marshall 59 (2OT) H

So by my count if you were to win this year it would be 4-2 ECU over the last six years. Since the series started again on a regular basis in CUSA (2005) ECU has won 6 out of 8 games.

I really do not care either way as I really do not focus on Marshall at all but I thought I would least put the accurate information on here about our series domination.

And I'm sure you can hang your hat on your series domination in lieu of a win in Huntington this year. We're sending you to AAC with an "L" on the schedule no matter what happens in the rest of our games.

They are just good ole Pirates supporting Pirates. Just following the advice of the Ultimate Pirate who has never read a thread he could ever understand especially with his Marshall obsession paving the way.

Listen dude, the only reason you guys get an "almost" is because nobody could ever have that big of a Napoleon complex.
Like even Napoleon himself looks at WVU and says "Good God, get a grip!"

Meanwhile Oedipus chimes in with an elbow and a "And people say I was ****** up in the head," while Caesar and MacBeth toast to the fact that they no longer look quite so tyrannical when paired with Holgorson and Huggins.

Being a LaTech Homie, I am really excited for the ECU vs Herd game. You guys seem to really hate each other which is great. It makes me want to watch the game of the century.

BTW: I played against ECU in 1989 and 1990 in Carolina. I loved the stadium. We had 5 turnovers which cost us the game in 1990 and we ended up tied 29-29 in 1989.

Look at it like this. Playing an FCS school is like taking a Pass/Fail class. It doesn't matter if you get a A, B, or C all that shows is Pass or Fail. Just like with an FCS school it doesn't matter if you beat the #1 FCS or the last place FCS they count the same. All anyone sees is you played and beat(as you should) an FCS school. Neither ODU or G-W addes to your SOS.
