What do you guys need to improve attendance in your opinion?

Serious question:

What do you guys need to improve attendance in your opinion?

Look at my sig, that was our game against Duke. WKUFan518 would have you all believe that there is never more than 10 people in the stands with 7 of them being Hilltoppers who happen to be in the area.

All panther fans expect the team to be really bad this season. We are running a pro style offense and had only 7 OL men over the summer. The primary receivers who practiced during spring and summer are all ineligible. Add to that, there are still some fans who are pi$$ed about MC firing.

We just need the on field product to improve, give the fans something to believe in.

FIU returned 20 of 22 starters last season. The most experienced OLine and had the QB knocked out of games regularly. 20 of 22 starters, voted pre-season champs and finished 3-9. MC lost control of the program according to one of the coaches who wrote a book about the season.

But I agree, his firing set the program back in a major way.

Put it in context, bad year with your most experienced team. I would have given him another year, I thought he deserved that. I also think the way the AD went about it was really underhanded.

Okay, I'm done. Snapped right over the QB's head. The few people that haven't left yet are probably leaving now. This is just ugly.

They fired MC because they thought they were going to get Butch Davis, plain and simple. Instead the got the generic version of the Turner Brothers.

I bet Rakeem Cato thanks Tommy Shuler every day for asking him to come visit Huntington. One of the top QBs in the nation could be stuck in that stadium and situation.

Good grief this is bad.

Maybe because it's called Florida "International" is where the problem lies. Maybe too many international students and not enough Americans who do know American football not futbol. Maybe the AD should institute a rule that tailgaters "HAVE" to leave the tailgate and go into the stadium at a certain time like they do at UTEP. We also had the same problem and the only ones that complained were not the fans but the drunks who went to party. Stull put a stop to that pretty fast and rightly so.
