I would guess NIU will be 4 point favorites. A lot can change between now and then though.

We need to absolutely destroy Purdue. Make them not want to ever play us again!

If the line for the game is NIU -4, I will bet my house and two children. NIU wins by at least two scores, book it.

Last weeks Cincinnati game was screwed by QB injury. There is more football to watch. However, 10 pt is still my prediction at this time.

Looks like Purdue to get a national TV primetime slot this Saturday night vs Notre Dame. I really hope Purdue plays the game somewhat respectable, although based on early results its hard to imagine how they can hang in this one.

What would really suck is if we lost to them because their coach inspired his players for our game.

The game was pretty much over when Cincy's qb got hurt. The spread will be 6-8 pts.

NIU should not lose this, If we are what we believe then aside from a possible shoot out with Ball State or stumble in Toledo, we should handle all our opposition. Purdue would be the only team with more talent and we should smoke them by just being a enter team at playing football together

I thought the commentators made a good point in the Purdue-ISU broadcast about how a big transition is underway especially among the linemen in adjusting to blocking for a non-spread vs a spread offense. I would imagine its a very different kind of beast. My only fear is that we did not catch Purdue earlier in the year, they will only get better as the weeks go on.

Purdue has a lot more room for improvement than NIU does. There is a good chance they will show some improvement and be competitive. Unless they throw the game with turnovers like they did the first 2-3 quarters in 2009, I don't expect this gamw to be a blowout. We should win, but have to play well to do so.

When is the last time a MAC team defeated a BCS team by more than 2 TDs? It is rare.

I saw the Indiana State game. Purdue was not so hot.
