UTEP vs. New Mexico
Although the Miners lost, I had the most wonderful time I have ever had at a Miner UTEP game.

I sat row 14 on the 40 yard line as a guest to my daughter's student tickets.

I traveled "park and ride" with Sun Metro and got dropped off at the Stadium.

I was 100% satisfided with the new Miners and their changes.

If there is one tiny little thing that I could criticize, it was that they didn't throw the ball as much as I had hoped.

Other than that, the game was great. If they beat NMSU, then I will reward them by purchasing tickets to UTSA.

RE: UTEP vs. New Mexico
This is the first year that they offered "Park and Ride" at all bus terminal locations. Last year, they would only do it from downtown. That wasn't a good deal because it was $5 to park and $5 per person to ride.

This year, it is free to park outside of down town and the fee was only $3.

The biggest criticism I heard on several radio shows was that the parking was crazy and that they were not allowing people to park in at least one parking garage even though it was only half full.

I suggest they all park and ride Sun Metro. It was cheaper, more convenient and a lot of fun.

This isn't the first year as I have taken a Sun Metro bus from the bus terminal next to Hooters in years past. It is good that they are doing it again. I spoke to the assistant to the GM for the El Paso AAA baseball team. I highly recommended they, and the City, look into this as well. It is a great option.

I didn't know they had "Park and Ride" for UTEP games. I've always done it for Sun Bowl games however.

I totally agree. On our way there, I told my wife, " They should do this for street fest. "

Now that you mention it for baseball, they should do it for lots of other events downtown or at UTEP.

I would be more inclined to attend events on that side of town if I can park and ride.
