You know straws are being grasped at when a Kentucky loss is being looked at as anything indicative of the SEC.

No doubt about it; my team is awful. However, I think WKU is going to be a strong contender for the SBC this year. They are pretty darn good. Let's see what happens this week with WKU vs. Tennessee.

The quote was the "bottom" of the SEC not the entire SEC, so no grasping here. Many who champion the SEC, (and rightfully so), have said that the bottom dwellers of the SEC would dominate conferences like the old BE or MAC, etc. My point was "attacking" that train of thought. No question SEC is top FB conference.

I think they may have been underated too. Wouldn't surprise me if they beat the Vols too. The question is how would UK do in the SBC? Not sure.
