RE: Big 10 and the FCS
What you suggest is not financially viable. Staying FCS gives us a chance to compete for a title. Moving to the more expensive FBS level is a recipe for disaster not only for football, but for all of Towson Athletics.

Not financially viable? FBS actually should improve our financial situation if you truly think about the math. You are talking about adding 5 additional football scholarships per year sometimes 6 but you now play BCS games which generate 1 million instead of $500,00 and you would receive conference playoff and TV revenue. FCS with 63 scholarships isn't financially viable once the BCS pay games go away. Standing still is actually falling behind.

It sounds like the 2017 game is going to get played which is great news for Towson. Last chance to take the wood to the Terps.
