RE: Hump Day - On To Illinois
Personally, I love that we're switching it up with various color combos. It's most def a cool way of being current and hip. The white helmets are very clean. Wouldn't mind seeing our bowl helmets make an appearance as well at some point.

Anyone have any good tips on how to get out of a 1 year olds birthday party? Starts at freaking 1 pm.

RE: Hump Day - On To Illinois
I slept through my oldest's one year old birthday party. Of course, I'd been on 24 hour call for a week and just got back from a 12 hour shift right before the party started.

They all tell me I looked peaceful.

The white helmets are due to the heat I'm sure. It's supposed to be pretty hot again on Saturday. Tuberville had them practicing at Higher Ground in white helmets due to the heat. I would assume it's the same decision maker for this weekend.

Is anyone hearing/seeing things about who's taking the first team snaps in practice?

Agree. Ready to get back to black, although I understand the motivation to stay with white. Wonder if we keep the white out logo on them for this game or go to something more like the one from the Sugar Bowl.

tell em the Cats are on and the kid is only one year old...he has PLENTY of other bdays to go and besides, he's not going to remember this one anyway. Then reinforce this notion by standing a few feet away from the kid and saying his/her name and when the kid doesn't recognize his/her name it will be clear to everyone that it's not like the kid is going to realize you aren't in the room.

While that describes my sentiments exactly, this approach will so not work.
