I read an article yesterday stating that they were less than 1000 tickets left.

UC has really handled attendance information admirably since Whit's arrival; I expect no less this time. They will announce the sellout at the most strategic time hoping local media wake up and respond based upon fan interest in this game (and program). Of course it may get bumped by some wireservice story on the NFL or a scintilating high school football preview.

This should be a blackout game. iirc, Tommy G said the Bearcats were going All Black with their uni combination.

UC should finish with an average attendance of 31,000 + for the year. Not bad at all.

If my UC math is correct, we will be around 32K for the season with the sell out on Thursday.

TT said on his radio show last night that about 200 tickets of their allotment were returned yesterday by Lousyville. So much for the big invasion of Nippert.

Buying from an athletic department allotment rather than a secondhand market is just not good financial sense. There will be plenty of Ouisvie fans there, they just bought cheaper tickets on one of the buyback sites rather than paying a premium from their AD.
