I would make this into a poll but as the season progresses, opinions will change. I also apologize in advance if there has already been a thread about this.

So, who do you think has the best chance of beating Alabama?

Texas A&M (09/14/2013)
LSU (11/09/2013)
SECCG Contender
BCSCG Contender
A team currently known as a creampuff

Keep in mind, Alabama has a BYE the week before the LSU game, and LSU also has a BYE before the Alabama game...

I frankly don't see Louisville having any shot at making the title game. They would have to bare minimum have no undefeated champ in the Big Ten, Big 12, Pac 12, or ACC. Or Notre Dame. Frankly, they probably need almost all of those to not have a 1 loss champion as well....

I think a team that Curtis left off that probably should be on is Florida State. Thought they looked really good, though you wonder was FSU that good, or is Pitt that bad?

I think realistically, the two teams that could beat Alabama are Texas A&M and Oregon. 2 spread teams.

Clemson is a very good possibility if they make the National Championship Game... Oregon had their chance twice and got beat both times by SEC top dogs, and Louisville is a long shot, not enough competition to prepare for Alabama... Ohio State, tee hee 03-lol

If FSU was playing Clemson at home maybe. Pitt moved the ball too well on FSU, Clemson will do much better. That should be a concern for FSU.

After what Louisville did to Florida last year, they will get a lot of votes this year, especially with their QB.

LSU is definitely the best bet before the BCS championship game.

In the SEC, I think LSU has the best chance to beat Alabama since they are playing at home. The "Head Case" at A&M will cost them any shot at beating Alabama.

Alabama's defense isn't the issue, it's their Oline. They can easily stop the spread, but getting pressure on McCarron will be the deal maker/breaker... I don't think Oregon or A&M can do that. I also notice Manziel getting flushed out easily by a subpar defense which means he will be easily pressured by Alabama's defense.

The game will be in Tuscaloosa this year, that gives an even better chance of LSU winning because LSU always wins in Tusca, while Alabama always wins in Rouge... Plus, even with a SUPER HORRID offense last year, LSU was able to move the ball all over Alabama, and now with a seemingly stellar offense for LSU this year, and failing Oline for Alabama, this game shouldn't really be that close. Not like usual anyways...

I thought Pitt was just soft, even FSU's backup had a 99 QBR... I'd be willing to bet that Clemson wins that one.
