A really solid regular season, but a disappointing finish.

Darn it. They caught the "football" bug at the end. GREAT season for the Rocket volleyballers, though. Thanks for making that sport relevant at UT again!

Disappointing end to the season, but I gotta tell you, I don't think there has been a UT team in any sport in recent memory that created so much excitement game in and game out. They came from behind in almost every win, sometimes coming back from the edge of the abyss like the WMU game where they were down 14-7 in the 5th. I was thought maybe they should have had a health warning on all the televised games that this team was not for those with weak hearts to watch. Even in this match when they were down to the last point in the 4th, they made an absolutely incredible get to keep the point alive, went on to win the point and then held on to win the set. Too bad they just couldn't pull it off in set 5.

Congratulations on a great season. Thanks for all the excitement.

We graduate a ton this year ... I think 5 out of the 8 core players that got almost all the PT. I hope this run helps recruiting and we can reload next season.

A UT senior has been named to the All-Midwest Region squad by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. First time a Rocket has received this honor.
