Thursday 9/5
FAU @ ECU FS1 tv
-This game should be a route to the tune of 21+ in favor of ECU. Granted ECU brings their A game and isn't looking forward to VT.

Friday 9/6
UCF @ FIU CBSSN tv
-As much as I want FIU to win this game I do not believe they have a chance to do so. Even if the talent was equal which it is not there is a huge gap between O'Leary and Tuner interms of coaching ability.

Saturday 9/7
#13 OkSt @ UTSA FS1
-This will get ugly quick. This is a terrible game for UTSA to have. You get no money because you are hosting so they basically asked for a free butt whoopin on national tv. At least had they played in Stillwater they would have had close to a million to ease the pain.

MTSU @ UNC
-This has the potential to be a good game but I see UNC winning by 14+.

S.Alabama @ Tulane
-Who knows. That was a mind blowing stat about the last time Tulane had consecutive victories. Neither team is that much better than the other in terms of on the field acheivements and records go. I look for Tulane to win by about 10-17pts.
USM @ Nebraska
-Man I feel for the USM proud on this. It has been 20 months since USM fans have tasted victory dating back to December 24th, 2011 and judging by the slate of games it may turn into 21 months. I hope by they get an upset to jolt this program off life support prior to FIU. Doubtful it will be this weekend as I see the Huskers taking this one by at least 14 points. PULLING FOR YOU GUYS!

Gardner-Webb @ Marshall
-Wow. This will be an epic beatdown for G-W. I would be surprised if they scored 10pts. So much is being made of the FCS upsets but there is no danger in this game. EWU was 44-19 over the last 5 seasons and NDST was 46-20 and the 2-time defending FCS national champ. KState was retooling and Oregon St while good was nothing special. The other teams are just bad teams or young teams. Point is Marshall has a proven Jr QB and of the nation's best offenses that now appear to be paired with a capable defense. Unless we hold our cards for OHIOm 59-10 HERD.

UAB @ #12 LSU
-This could be a massacre. If LSU comes out and gives it 100% this one is over before the 1st quarter. I would love to see the upset here but odds are it isn't happening.

UNT @ Ohio
-PLEASE UNT BEAT THE BOBKITTIES! OHIO is a good team with a pretty good QB but they looked like a bag of hammered dog crap last week. I am picking OHIO in a close one but I am pulling for UNT.
Colorado St @ Tulsa
-Coming into 2013 I would have called this a route in favor of Tulsa. Now after last week I am not so sure. Didn't see the Colorado game so I don't know what Colorado St brings to the table but this one may be closer than predicted. Tulsa gets back on track with the win.
Lamar @ La Tech
-It appears that Lamar has only had a team since 2010. Each year winning 5, 4, and 4 games. LaTech should win this rather easily easing the sting from last week.

UNM @ UTEP
-Don't know much about either team but I know that UNM is not a good program. UTEP to win.
FUTURES:

Saturday 9/7
WKU @ Tennessee
-Love ot see WKU make a statment here but I don't see them doing it. Tennessee is not UK so I look for Tennessee to win by 21.

I thought it would be 10 or 11. Which is not to say that I think Tulane will necessarily win by that amount. I just thought Vegas would settle on a # in that range.

As far as my 45-21 pick went for ECU game, we should have had two more TDs but we had those fumbles >_>.

I think the FAU offense struggled to get going.

Not a game on the schedule that really will make any noise for CUSA unfortunately.

UTEP and Tulane let me down, everything else about what I expected. I'll get better on my spreads the more games we see.

I'm still trying to absorb this one. I predicted a Tulane win like most people, but if you had told me Tulane would score 39 points, I would have been almost positive we would win.

13-2 SU week 2, 23-7 season
4-8 ATS week 2, 9-15 season

Bad numbers against the spread. I missed ECU because Carden was pulled early in the 4th. I missed on UAB because of a 109-yard missed FG return. I missed on Southern Miss and Western Kentucky due to all the turnovers. And then Tulane just decided to be Tulane. UTSA was the team that impressed me the most this week.

MY LINE: ECU 45-21From what I saw against Miami, I think ECU can put up those kinds of points on FAU but I think our D will let them score that high.
REALITY SAID: ECU 31-13A W is a W but FAU's O was anemic at best and two controversial TD calls were all the rage from this game.
1-0

Friday 9/6
UCF @ FIU CBSSN tv
MY LINE: UCF 45-10 This is going to be UGLY.
REALITY SAID: UCF 38-0 YUP, called it.
2-0

Saturday 9/7
#13 OkSt @ UTSA FS1
MY LINE: OkSt 42-17 I am not sure how ugly this could get for UTSA...but I don't see an upset happening.
REALITY SAID: OkSt 56-35 I am surprised UTSA put up 35 on them. I am surprised the dropped 28 on them in the 4th, back ups in for OkSt in the 4th or not, that was impressive.
3-0

MTSU @ UNC
MY LINE: MTSU 27-24 UPSET SPECIAL I could be convinced of more points but I think UNC will have a South Carolina game hangover.
REALITY SAID: UNC 40-20 I wont say I am surprised UNC won but I am surprised by the 20pt margin.
3-1

S.Alabama @ Tulane
MY LINE: Tulane 31-18 Tulane should not lose this one.
REALITY SAID: So Alabama 41-39 Really?
3-2

USM @ #18 Nebraska
MY LINE: Nebraska 35-21 Not sure how much to read into both schools games in week 1.
REALITY SAID: Nebraska 56-13 I really hope USM's fortunes turn around...
4-2

Gardner-Webb @ Marshall
MY LINE: Marshall 56-14 If this game is within 3 TDs I would be amazed.
REALITY SAID: Marshall 55-0 OWNAGE...but look at the competition.
5-2

UAB @ #12 LSU
MY LINE: LSU 28-17 UAB sometimes shows up on these lopsided road games to make it interesting so I have a glimmer of hope but I don't think LSU will let it happen.
REALITY SAID: LSU 56-17 I was hoping UAB would make a game of it.
6-2

UNT @ Ohio
MY LINE: UNT 27-23Ohio got owned by Louisville and UNT is riding high on a big win in week 1. I think the Mean Green got a shot.
REALITY SAID: Ohio 27-21 About the score I figured but too bad UNT lost.
6-3

Colorado St @ Tulsa
MY LINE: CSU 24-17 Hope Tulsa can win because they looked terrible in week 1.
REALITY SAID: Tulsa 30-27I guess Tulsa turned it around and it was a great game to watch...

8-7
