The fact is that when you throw the label out, What is the record of Georgia Southern against the SBC,USA and the AAC? I think you will find a winning record for our program. And nothing against our @#% brothers from Boone () , but lets not forget that we beat them in that mighty year that they beat Michigan which you all are so impressed (and for good reason) with. Let's not forget that this conference was built on a bunch of one hit 1-AA transfers wonders (or no hit wonders!). The best two programs this conference has ever landed are about to begin play here in less than 12 months. Oh we are both bound to stumble and fall a bit as perfect seasons for anybody are rare. But for those of you expecting either of us to follow the same path of losses and struggles that those other programs did are bound to be disappointed. Expect seasoned, ready for action programs from the fist time we line up against UL, ASU, Troy and the rest. You are not going to see us taking 2 or 3 years to reach that point.

Yes, it is EVERYONE else that is prideful, not you.
