Wrong on both counts.

Boise State will still win 8 games this year and as for Tebow, his time as a QB is probably over; however, being a class act will never "pass".

Y'all looked pretty good on Saturday, FWIW.

I definitely agree on Tim Tebow. If people think they have heard the last from him, then they better stop watching Sports Television because I guarantee that either ESPN or FOX picks him up when he is ready to give up on being an NFL quarterback.

In regard to Boise State? No idea, but I think their appeal will continue to be strong to players that cant make it into some of the more discerning schools.

Washington appeared to have a very strong team that really bought into what was going on there. I think they are finally back on the upswing. I don't really judge Boise all that harshly for that loss. I simply judge harshly the way college football preseason rankings come about. Boise should never have had that ranking placed upon them.

That ranking came about purely from the desire to see a Cinderella team this year throw everyone into a tizzy about the Tournament next year. A team like Boise cant make it that high into the final rankings without having a good head start in the preseason rankings.

I'd say that Tebow hasn't passed and much as he has rushed.

Have you guys heard Tebow talk? It's not his thing. I'm not saying he is the worst speaker ever, because he's not, but I think he'd struggle as some host or anchor on a tv show.

I would love to see Tebow take up that offer to join our USA Rugby National Team. He'd join Carlin Isles, who himself is a good story and joined rugby only because he was never going to make the USA Track National Team. And, uh, rugby is bad*ss.

Tebow could absolutely make it in rugby sevens. A guy his size running with the ball in the open field -- that works.

RE: Two things whose time has passed
California has almost 40 million people loving within the state and only 4 BCS schools. As long as that's the case, there will always be room for a Boise State to come in and scoop up the leftovers. Those leftovers will be good enough to field a team that is nationally competitive.

As for Tebow, he's hardly worth mentioning. He's gotten far more press than he's earned. Time for him to take his act to Canada, or Europe, or to the arena league to see if he can make the cut there.

Tebow will be on plenty of lifetime movies. His real future could very well be as an actor.

You obviously have not watched much Fox Sports 1 since it's start.

Miami has stockpiled talent recently. Only a matter of time before they explode on the scene again.

Not the world's most likable guy, but that hasn't hindered anyone's celebrity in the past. Unless he pulls an Aaron Hernandez on us, he'll be in the headlines for many years to come. His time has just begun.

Unfortunately. The UM will have A good amount of influence in the title race, UF and FSU this year.

Many years to come? Yea, right. But no, his time has not passed. Yet.

What he is trying to say here is that Boise 's days as a Top 10 national player are over and in the context of the big time that is all that counts.

As an example, Ohio was taken to the wood shed today by Louisville but will still probably pull out 8 wins but that doesn't mean anything nationally. Within the MAC it maintains our position as a good team but that is about it.

You must not have watched our game the past weekend. Are we ready to contend for the SEC championship this season? No. But we could very well win 8 or 9 games.
