I think I'd go with this:

East
- Marshall
- ECU
- MTSU
- UAB
- USM
- FAU
- FIU

West:
- Rice
- North Texas
- UTSA
- Tulane
- UTEP
- La Tech
- Tulsa

To be the man......you have to beat the man........no team left has won a Cusa title except ECU, Tulsa, Tune, and USM!

MT's game was on Thursday too

Either way, the people that were there were loud and into the game...good atmosphere.

I thought it looked like the stadium had a lot more than that in it too.

Maybe being the fattest state in the country has benefits after all.

LOL very true...but we are now only the 3rd fattest state in the country.
That's probably because my exceptionally fat aunt that lives in WV just had gastric bypass surgery. She was fat enough on her own to skew the average.

I don't get your point. That is the majority of the teams left in the conference. Are you suggesting that none of the new teams would have ever won the conference if they had been in it?

RE: The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly
I was thinking that UTEP would get about 40k in attendance, but after seeing everyone else get attendance numbers below what I expected them to get, I'm gonna say UTEP only gets 35k

as far as ranking the conference so far

WEST

1. Rice
2. UTSA
3. UNT
4. UTEP
5. La tech
6. Tulsa
7. Tulane

EAST

1. Marshall
2. ECU
3. MTSU
4. USM
5. UAB
6. FIU
7. FAU

i disagree with having to beat the man to be the man...12 games...consistently winning makes you the man...any team can beat the defending champ any week...hell...look at what ndsu did to ksu...so are they the man in football???

plenty of boxing champs lost to one timers....that doesn't mean they were never the man...

beat the teams in conference, week in and week out, and you will be the man...no one off shiat...consistency rules the roost...

I'll bet it smelled like bacon cooking all day. Hmmmm, I love bacon. 04-cheers

As for the ratings I don't think we should even be in those numbers as we haven't even played our first game. Next week and then we'll be in there.03-cloud9

Dude... seriously? It was a 7:00 kickoff. It smelled like...

Meatloaf
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Green Beans
and for dessert either Apple Pie or Peach Cobbler. 07-coffee3
