It was invalidated because of irregularities. Again no hard proof, yet they acted. I can't think of any but there are plenty of other situations where they acted on a strong suspicion.

The NCAA does not have the "beyond a reasonable doubt" burden.

No, but the NCAA can be sued if they destroy someone's character without cause.

As I pointed out in post #59, this is a "can of worms" the NCAA and TX A&M never want to open. Too many additional questions can be asked once the oath is sworn to tell the "WHOLE TRUTH".

We're covering the 35 for damn sure. I think we'll have some fun down there and show some serious improvement.

I'm looking forward to it! It's going to be a brutal game, but I will choose to dwell on the positives.......and there will be some.

I'm not. I hope we get out of there without any injuries. If that happens, that's a win for me.

You have a loose definition for wins. Was Troy a win for you as well?

HEY!!! That's my line. We have been told many times that UAB doesn't need to think about RBs like that. LOL!

I'm looking forward to UAB playing a good, 4 quarter game and getting out with no new injuries. A win would be the icing on the cake.

I'm as disappointed as anyone. And to a large degree I'm on the mad side of things. I'm not convinced that our coach has learned a great deal after one year. The time out three minutes into the third quarter, the on sides kick, clock management at the end and there are many more examples of what costs UAB this game.

I'm not happy with the product on the field, but I'm not jumping off a cliff either.

Go Blazers!

RE: Not looking forward to the LSU game.
Going back to Backman, he is eligible against LSU for the full game. I asked McGee to confirm and asked if ejections are reviewable. They do review every ejection. If they rule that it isn't targeting, the player gets to stay in the game, but the 15-yard penalty stands.

RE: Not looking forward to the LSU game.
I saw a player ejected from a Div II game last night.

While I understand why they are ejecting players, it will come back to be a big issue in a big game down the line.

I can see it coming.
