Thoughts from Troy.
Thanks for coming down! First Great crowd!!! I was very surprised by how many of y'all made it down! And every blazer I met was very friendly.

2nd. Y'all were the better team. Just didn't come out with a win. My Trojans just never gave up. Y'all threw all over us. No doubt the best UAB team I've seen. We are LUCKY as hell to get a W.

Y'all will be much better than 3-9... I could honestly see a winning season in store for you guys. Good luck from here on out.... Unless we meet up in a bowl together.03-drunk

They are great games in particular when you win.

As much as it always sucks to lose to Troy, I will judge the success of this year based on the season as a whole.

Outside of LSU (who I naturally hope we beat) we have the talent to beat any team on our schedule. Now if only we can quit beating ourselves...

Now that I've recovered from my UAB-induced stroke, I'm ready to give y'all some props.

1.) Nice crowd guys, most Blazers Ive ever seen come Inside the Walls.
2.) Whoa, this new coach of yall's may actually do what you guys have been praying for.
3.) Your RB #5 is a beast.

Thank you guys and gals who made the trip, see ya in 2016! 04-cheers

Negative BTH! We still have one more game in the series under the current contract. It's next year in B'ham. Then we go on hiatus for at least 2 years, unless something drastic changes.

As for the game last night, without a doubt, this was the best Blazer team we have faced in years. I hope y'all run roughshod through CUSA this season and make it to a bowl game.

This series has been good for both schools, and I hope the powers that be decide to renew the series after the hiatus, or even find a way to extend the current contract.

Good luck the rest of the season.

Thanks for the kind words here. Forgive me if I don't post on the Troy board as I have read the filth a lot of your fans are spewing over there. The way we were treated leaving the stadium forgive me if I am not excited about going back to Pike County.

Thanks for the hospitality! I had a great experience. The feedback is honest, and dead on, and fans like you make college football better.

I think you guys will bowl this year too. Savannah State, Georgia State, and South Alabama will definitely not get in the way.

Besides the people I was there with, I didn't talk to a Troy fan, and they didn't talk to me. I still have yet to have a bad experience with a Troy or Southern Miss fan. Maybe it's my delightfully off-putting personality.

Same can be said when we leave Legion Field. Nothing like driving through an area where the First 48 was recently filmed. Give me Pike Co. anytime. To add to this I sit next to the area where the UAB tickets were and some of the things I witnessed can probably compare to your experience. I think you run into that at any away facility though.

I can put gas in my car after 10pm on a Saturday pretty much anywhere in the Birmingham Metro.

"Give you Pike County anytime"? Knock yourself out. She's all yours.
