Eastern Washington is FCS. What happened to the P5 being so far above us non power schools that they needed their own division and governance? After all, how could we hope to compete against their revenue

Folks in Storrs and Tampa probably don't see the humor.

(Said as two teams in our conference were beaten soundly by terrible FCS opponents.)

That's embarrassing but it doesn't compare to a ranked Pac 12 team losing to FCS.

Does this take the heat off us at all? I mean the Beavers were ranked. USF, ummm, had a bus.

It happens a few times every year, and even the holiest of holies SEC had a run of unfortunate results against FCS schools a few years ago.

The weirdest part is how the FCS schools have looked legit dominant on the lines more than once.

Eastern Washington is at least ranked in FCS. its still a terrible loss, but not as terrible as getting 50 dropped on you by an atrocious McNeese State

Eaaaaasy! I didn't know a 7-4 team from last year that's still at least going to be decent (middle of the pack prediction) this season qualified as "atrocious".

Fair enough.

I'd have saved "atrocious" for Savannah State or a MEAC school trying their luck in Tampa quite frankly.
