AFAIK that's supposed to be the rule. But it's not being called that way obviously.

There are a ton of things that are here now that were never a factor before:
* If your helmet fits correctly, one should have to put both hands in their ear holes, pull OUT on them and take their helmet off...how many just grab their face mask and lift off their lids?
* long wet hair+sweat+ wet helmet lining = helmets coming off
* today the kids have to talk to each other more than ever (making calls, check offs,you name it and then there is Trash Talk LOL) and it is hard to do with a mouth piece AND a tight chin strap
* The little hats they wear now get wet and... the helmet comes off very easy
I'm just saying...there are a ton of reasons for helmet removal and it aint going to change.

I don't get those little caps they wear underneath. My head was plenty hot and sweaty without an extra layer, can't imagine it does much more than make one feel "geared up"
