Yes but a FCS teams is not supposed to have the depth and quality of players to have a 8 minute game winning TD drive against a defending big boy conference champion.

FAU's coach had his team spike the football on 4th down against Miami.
And Wake turned it over just before halftime spiking the ball.

Those two are a toss up. Since we're still technically FCS, it definitely has a Hoosiers element. I was pulling for Ole Miss (my family are big UGA fans/alumni, and James Franklin acted like a ******* in his first UGA game), and it was a nail biter. However, watching one of our competitors for the past few years pull off a big upset was kind of neat. All FCS teams can thank App for making it so much harder to do.....04-cheers

A upset in progress thread is different than a FCS game thread that few, if any, outside of GaSo and App fans care about. You aren't FCS anymore, let go of the JV division.

And FWIW, I was never calling for this thread to be locked, just moved to the OT board, something the CUSA board doesn't have.

Deservedly so, the fact that NDSU ended up winning doesn't change the fact that the thread was OT from the start.

IF you had called your shot from the beginning, I'd tip my cap to you

-OR-

IF you had started the thread later in the game as an upset in progress thread, as it was on the CUSA thread you linked, it wouldn't have been an issue, but the main board on SBC BBS is not the place for FCS game threads.

I think y'all get it the worst still. I'd love to see the locker room material when y'all play a BCS team!

It wasn't a dame thread, merely posting that there is an interesting game on tonight with a great storyline.

And yes, I was dead on by posting it as it turned out to be a tremendous game and upset.

Lol. He has to go back 10 years to pick one anomaly. Must be a good rating if you have to go back that far to find a bad ranking. NDSU finished 35th and they probably weren't that far from that as almost the same team knocked off the defending big 12 champs on the road.

You do know that Sagarin was used in the BCS formula right? I'd say that is very credible.

Harvard in 2004 is not the only anomaly, it's just easily the most glaring.

If you think NDSU was better than nearly 90 FBS teams last year, you are on crack.

That same team knocked off the defending Big 12 champs on the road. I don't see many G5 teams pulling that off.

For all your talk of NDSU having "the same team" you sure are glossing over the fact that K-State lost Collin Klein and Arthur Brown, among other key contributors I'm sure.

The 35th best team in college football lost to Indiana State at home...right. Speaking of which, did you see what the mighty Sycamores that beat last year's 35th best team did to open the 2013 campaign?

I'm not saying NDSU isn't legit, but there is no way they were better than 90 FBS teams last year.

You've been here long enough to know that there are a few words that will quickly invalidate whatever you have to say, sagarin being one of them(bleacher report being another). Sagarin is a joke and that opinion is held by a large percentage of the membership of this board.
