Akron's seniors have won 3 games total, 1 vs FBS, 0 on the road. Akron's last road win was in 2008. They're rebuilding but have a long way to go.

UCF is light years better than Purdue. Not being mean to the Boilermaker faithful nor am I diminishing UC but we torched a bad team today.

That said, UC is VERY deep. I don't think we have ever been this deep. This is going to be a great team providing a few key players don't get hurt.

Completely agree. This sentiment doesn't get expressed enough. Akron came in and showed a lot of class, even though they didn't fare well. I wish Terry Bowden and the Zips the best of luck. Hopefully they run the table the rest of the year, and make our win more meaningful. I've always had a lot of respect for the MAC programs.
