Dude.. you haven't been paying attention have you? EVERY USM fan around here knew our OL was completely inexperienced (and it showed.. Bridgeford had someone in his face on almost every pass play. Our RB's didnt' have a single hole to run through).

Id wager there were _maybe_ 2 people around here who thought we were due to get a blowout win.

It was one of those games that the final score, honestly didnt' show just how good the USm defense was. So don't start coming in here claiming we had a "Tx State sucks!" bit going on. (If you want that, go check EaglePost or BGN.)

The difference in this game were 6 turnovers and _1_ drive (and a stupid defensive change that still has me wondering who snuck Tommy West back on our coaching staff.)

Some fans came on to our fans site repping a blowout. Our team is good but not great. We are better than most will give us credit.

Total yards were Southern Miss 400, Texas State 215.

I don't think we underestimated you. I think we didn't focus very hard on holding on to the ball. Anyway, nice win Bobcats.
