CUSA West
Well with Tulsa getting blown out the door I think the west is wide open. Tulsa has a lot to work on. North Texas, UTEP, UTSA are all not ready. La Tech is really young. I'm not sold completely on Rice but they finished strong last year. Is Tulane a sleeper pick? What are your thoughts on the west?

RE: CUSA West
LaTech has 32 seniors last year. However, they somehow got a 6th year of eligibility for 5 of them...

#CUSA MT @McMurphyESPN: La Tech may have set NCAA record by getting 5 players 6th year of eligibility this year. Good news for @LATechSHoltz

I agree, just think this opens the door for others. They didn't just lose but got blown out. Tulsa has rebounded before though.

Tulsa got their WTF performance out of the way early. Wakeup call. They'll be fine...

If they do, then it sure makes the West look weak in comparison. You can hear it now, the team the won C-USA west is so weak they were blown out by a MAC school.

At the MAC school, in the first game of the season. If they lose to Tulane, UTSA, or North Texas later in the season, that's going to look a lot worse. I don't know why everybody hates on the MAC, the conference isn't as bad as some people want to make it out to be.

RE: CUSA West
It wasn't the fact that they got beat by a MAC school. It was one if their best teams against one if ours. It was how they got beat. If that performance repeats itself Blankenship may be looking for a new job.
