Talk about "inauspicious." Not a good start for the new league.

I feel for the Tulsa and UConn fans. I felt the same last year after Texas State.

After two 5-7 seasons, is Pasqualoni on the hot seat after this loss? Is the Towson coach (former UConn assistant) a on the wish list?

I guess we should feel lucky that Tulsa doesn't join until next year now. Maybe won't catch as much heat. UConn game was an embarrassment. Not a good start.

Louisville is an ACC school competing 1 year in the American.

Tulsa is an American school competing 1 year in C-USA. What they do this year, good or bad, reflects on our league.

I hope that the thread' title proves to be true. If ECU turns in a lackluster performance against ODU or FAU, I'm going to have to eat some crow.

For all of Tulane's failure and dysfunction in football, we haven't lost to an FCS/I-AA team since that classification became official in 1978.

Pasquiloni shouldn't be on any seat whatsoever... He should be on the unemployment line.

As for "it can only get better from here..." You had better hope it does.

I spoke too soon. McNeese leads USF 40-14 in the 3rd Q. And Temple never sniffed a lead at Notre Dame.

That reputation might be well earned. I have watched some really bad football in the conference (plus Tulsa) this week.

And ODU is giving ECU all they can handle at the moment

It can't get much worse. Can't wait for all of the great press the AAC should be getting next week.

I don't think it matters...everyone already thought the conference was dog crap anyway.
