Decided to attend the BG-Tulsa game this evening.

Boring, 6-0 BG at the half. Neither team looks good.

Never seen such a slow-paced game. One or two plays then a "commercial".

"Time Warner Cable Falcon First Down"... really

Usual traffic mess getting into this place, then $10 to park.

Hope the 2013 Rockets are much more exciting than what we are watching.

A first however, a wind-less Doyt...

Had to mention traffic, assuring RWT's annual "Go the back way and it's a thirty nine second drive from Toledo" post.

Their defense looks to be legit.

I know. Decided to get it out of the way early in the season H2O.

Weird. Their return guy looks to have a belly that rivals the dance team.

their offense looks average but the defense is very strong. Tulsa was supposed to be good, but looks like they'll need a few games to gel.

bg switched qbs a few series in and the soph Johnson has played well. not a big arm but crafty w his feet.

they just went to their top recruit rb coppit from fla. he looks good.

BG offense woke up. Ball Sts, also. Dri Archer in a boot. Akron got booted.

How does Akron fall so far. Some of the best HS football in the country played within 50 miles of that school.

Watched the game on ESPNU. BG Defense as good as last year. Rockets will be ok.

Wow. 34-7 BUGS. They were talking on the news tonight like Tulsa was supposed to be pretty good and BUGS was the underdog. That was a pretty good spankin'.

Tulsa's so-called high powered offense looked like crap. Is BG's defense really that good? A couple more games will tell the tale. Next up is @Kent State and then @Indiana.

Not a bad game for bgsuCKS. Terrible crowd, per usual. What the hell else is there to do in bg on a Thursday night??

Have to agree that Tulsa looked really bad. Hard to believe they were the 2012 CUSA Champions.

Really weird game to watch in person. Seemed like 2-3 plays would run, then there would be 5 minutes of timeouts, delays, etc. Seemed more like a big commercial with some football scattered in between.

Actually sitting in the stadium I thought the attendance was pretty good, especially for a Thursday night game.

18,000 was the "announced attendance." No reason they can't 23,000 in there and sell it out for the season opener. Did not look good on TV.

I actually thought it looked really good on TV. I would have guessed way more the 18k.
