There's any easy way to avoid all of it. Don't watch E$PN except for the games. Everything else is crap anyway.

Rice can try and goad our players it's classless but our guys shouldn't be baited by it.

Defending Manziel and calling Rice classless. Classic Aggie.

Manziel had too much success too fast and has bad judgement and a way too big ego and gets all the negative press he asks for. He's just like Miley Cyrus.

But way to try and insert a team literally nobody cares about into the conversation!

truth

Here is the difference. UC, a commuter school celebrated their 1st 35K seat sellout in history. We play Stephen F Austin for our opener and will be pissed if we don't have 50K plus in the stands.

I don't despise many schools but I hope the gods allow coog high, bearcat high and t-shirt aggy fans to join the same conference. It would be pure comedy. Maybe then, we can allow the the non-cultish,non-brainwashed aggy grads back in the Big 12.

LOL not that I expect you to know this (you hicks in lubbock probably don't get out much) but UC is 43,000 students, was recently submitted in Forbes as one of the most beautiful campuses in the us, has a billion dollar endowment and is a Research 1 level institute that is not too far from AAU admittance. Nobody calls Cincy "bearcat high".

Now go milk the cows and STFU.

PS: Your coach left you for UC bwahahahahahaha

Waste of time to talk to an Aggie fan about anything related to A&M. Hardly recall anyone calling Johnny Cyrus, Manziel a satan. Just that he behaves stupidly and immaturely and has a big head.

Sure he does but that's the hypocrisy.

Manziel mouths off = national news

Mccoy watches teammate rape woman...nothing

LSU player rapes and assaults woman....nothing

Im not saying he didnt fo this stuff, Im saying the ESPN 24/hr coverage of it is a manufactured circus of outrage to generate viewership

Case the cameraman was national news. It was at the top of ESPN's stories during bowl week. And he was a mere backup QB, not a Heisman winner. The other player was injured and out for the season. But no charges were filed (and that wasn't national news when the police decided there was nothing there). It was three drunk kids and the two breaking curfew got sent home and missed the bowl game for breaking curfew and pending the police report.

Manziel got praised by Sharp, the clown politician, and got half a game when he would only have played half or 3 quarters vs. Rice anyway.

If you are the first freshman Heisman trophy winner in history, you have to expect a lot of coverage. It will be even worse when he is in the NFL. You do stupid things and people will talk about it.

Granted,

But that doesn't make ESPN any less ridiculously transparent for their 24/7 hate-a-thon to turn CFB into TMZ.

Manziel needs to calm the hell down and play the game and ESPN needs some competition to force them to be more objective.

I'd be happy with both

If you want to live in the spotlight, you must remember that it's on you 24/7. If you are unable to deal with the consequences of any acts of fundamental stupidity, then you shouldn't be seeking the spotlight in the first place...

Not sure it was seeking the spot light

Remember, this all started with "OMG he's at a party! OMG he's court side at the Lakers! OMG he tweeted about a traffic ticket!"

I watched the South Park episode "Brittany's new look" the other night and couldn't stop laughing :)

I know - I work with many Ags and have family members who have graduated from A&M. They will tolerate his antics for now - because he is helping them win - however, there are many who wish that he would represent the university better. He has really become "Johnny Goofball". I think he will not be considered for the Heisman this year just due to his behavior on and off the field. In addition, he's become a poor representative for the Heisman. It's unfortunate because I believe he is probably one of the greatest athletes I've ever seen to play the game. His attitude and actions are starting to work against him. In my opinion, he's not an Aggie - he's everything they don't promote.

Winning is worshipped. You can tolerate a lot when winning. If the young man starts losing he will not be as readily tolerated. I can attest to loving winning so much that I saw no wrong in Calipari.
