Game day apparel...
If you're going to the game on Saturday, what are you planning to wear?

I'm not sure yet. Probably boxers, maybe briefs; depends on what you're wearing. But Grungy, you do know this is a public forum and anyone can read our posts, right??

I am wearing blue. Wear some cargo shorts and any colored shirt and you will fit right in with most of crowd. I sat in a sea of orange when they played Okie state and it was pleasant for them.

My bunch will be wearing white, with blue OER's.
Thought about navy blue, but decided against it..with bright sun and the temp headed to the upper 90's

If you expected the TV cameras to occasionally point at you, would you still dress comfortably, say shorts and a Rice-themed t-shirt, or would you wear black pin-stripe pants, a collared shirt and tie, a black pin-stripe vest, and a fedora (and risk heat-stroke)?

Grungy, with the latter outfit, I'd also wear a 3 liter backpack water system. And probably refill it early in the third quarter.

Mine holds 3.25 liters.
My greater worry is core temp exceeding limits.

Hope you go with someone who has big purse. If you are in middle of row it is not worth it to fight crowd to go to concessions. If she has big purse fill it with water bottles--I have seen Ags freeze two liters, and then by end of game it is cold water. My wife and I usually take 4-5 bottles in-beats 3 dollars for their bottles. They say they have a limit you an bring in, but never have we been called on it-even when they search the purse.

Great idea. I went with a bunch of Aggies to a game at Kyle a few years back, and they weren't as resourceful. Each of them brought a car door, and when it got really hot, they rolled down their windows.

If I had access to the garb you mentioned, I would most definitely wear it to the game on Saturday. Our seats are on row 2 in sec. 146, so the cameras will be able to see us if they want to :)

Right now we have two extra seats -- p.m. me if you or any other Rice fans are interested in them at face value.
Or at a significant discount for current students, or anyone "dressing up" as you suggested.
