I saw a pic on Twitter of a new logo on UNT helmets. Is that real? Anyone else see this thing?

Are you talking about the "Flying Worm" from the Hayden Fry era that will be worn as part of our thrown back uniforms for the Idaho game ?

I always liked the flying worm. Much better than the generic North Texas script.

Yeah thats much better than what you have now. UL has the same issue with FDL helmets being better.

Flying worm? Looks more like a steaming pile to me... Lol I'm not a fan of these helmets. I think the current UNT eagle logo would look good on a helmet though.

They should just go old school, have solid green helmets with a white stripe and numbers on the side ...

Speaking of new helmets, MT will be wearing a white one this year; the silver will still be the main one though.

Maybe you missed the memo, this is still my conference for another year... You on the other hand are gone, and nobody gives a flying worm what color your unicorn helmets are.

Don't ever talk bad about the old USA helmets, these things are terrible. Thank goodness South has new and improved ones.

I didn't care for them. I like our new helmets a LOT better. I could only dream about them having the "SA" logo on them. That logo is only to be used for baseball though. Too bad because I think it would look sharp on a football helmet.
