RU 9.5 point dogs to Fresno
I think chances are Rutgers loses this game. But I'm surprised by the point spread. I think it opened around 11 so it looks like people have bet it down a tiny bit.

Thoughts on why the spread is so high? Do you think it's location and timing? Do you think it's Vegas expecting our secondary to get blown up by Carr? No confidence in Nova?

I'm thinking FSU 28-RU 24. I also think the game has a very real possibility of turning into barnburner.

I actually think we win this game in a close fashion. I think our defense despite the NFL losses will be much better than people expect. I also think Nova will be improved and the receiver corps will be the best its ever been.

I have high hopes. It will be a tough test headed out west especially for such a late game, but I think we can do it.

So you guys are saying the spread is ridiculous and I should bet the house on RU? 04-cheers

I'm worried about our secondary, honestly. Hopefully our d-line can really harass the Fresno QB into making bad decisions. Reports out of camp seem to point to our running game being flat. I'm high on Savon and really hope he breaks out this year.

9.5 is a little high. I'd take Rutgers all day. The one thing they have been good at consistently is D. Nova needs to prove it to me before I get behind him. He cost the school a lone Big East title and a trip to the BCS. His play down the stretch was really bad. I hope he improves but ill need to see it before i believe it.
