Probably better off in the long run then playing for that horsebleep team under that horsebleep coach.

I imagine their bank accounts disagree.

weren't making the real money yet! needed to get practice squad or roster to collect! I am sure they would play for any team!

Which is why I said their bank accounts would disagree. I was implying they lost a lot of money by not making the roster, even if it's a ****** team like the Jets.

RE: Progar and Spann Released
This was not Chad Spann's first rodeo. I really respect how he never gave up and went after his dream but it might be time to begin thinking about the next chapter of his life. With his work ethic and determination he is bound to be successful and I wish him well.

He was an English major and wasn't a very good writer, so I don't know if he has anything to fall back on.

You don't know what you're talking about.
My wife, who is an English teacher, tutored Chad for almost 2 years at the YC. Chad took great pride in being an English major and improved his skills dramatically over that time. He has talked about teaching and coaching in Indianapolis after his football career is over.
Chad will be successful in life.

I have personally read some of his work from college his junior year. From what I read, it wasn't anywhere near it needed to be if he wants to write professionally. You know what they say, "those who can't do, teach."

Reading comprehension is a skill you haven't mastered. Once again, Chad's skills improved dramatically over his last two years here. He graduated with a B.A. in English from NIU. It should also be noted that he stuck with English despite some of his coaches urging him to change to an easier major.
I'm sure the teachers that post on and read this board, of which there are several, aren't appreciative of you ripping on what is known as "The Noblest Profession." But then again, maybe you're just not very bright.

Alright, Jesus, I get it. He is a great writer now. Chad "New Yorks Times Best Seller" Spann.
Also, I'm sure the teachers who read this board do not care in the slightest what I have to say about teaching. Especially when it's on a message board and I'm loosely using a common saying.
p.s.
Everyone on this board needs to drink a beer, smoke a doobie, or tug one out. Whatever will get you guys to chill out. People are taking things WAY too personal the last few days.

Sorry, I don't have time for a more well-crafted response. I must return to "can't doing".
