If you're looking for tape on either of these teams, it's gonna be a long search. Reinhardt is taking the field for the first time as well. After scanning their roster, it's filled with all Freshmen and Sophomores. They have a lone Junior linebacker.

The one thing we know for sure is that Mercer will have a strong home field advantage. The 10,200 capacity is almost guaranteed to be announced and filled above that number. 5,000+ season tickets sold. The remaining single-game tickets for this opener sold in 27 minutes. They then sold 1,000 grass seats in 37 minutes. Finally, an unannounced amount of standing room only tickets were sold.

It was better than I ever imagined it could be. A really amazing experience all around from the Coaches, players, marching band, cheerleaders, the roar of the crowd which was PACKED, and of course all of the staff making the day go smoothly. What an incredible win. Just seeing the atmosphere and everything unfolding, it was great for everyone who's worked so hard. I'm not an emotional guy, but seeing them all run through the tunnel was a near tear jerker -- knowing they've worked and worked for this day.

Looking forward to the days when Mercer and ETSU are full scholly in the SoCon together!!

Great experience and one of the most emotionally draining games i've ever been a part of! This is my second time around doing the start up program thing and this took the cake.

I've read on different sites that this game set the attendance record for any Mercer sporting event, AND set the Pioneer Football League attendance record... all in their first game!

Congratulations on the first win. Hopefully we (ETSU) can come out of the box as successfully as you have in 2015.

Great video. Being on the sideline for that game was probably my numer 1 college football experience and I've worked in College athletics for 7 years at 3 different schools. including both of my Alma maters. Hoping the attendance #'s stay high and we continue to have success on the field.
