I would say sure, but Stanford and Alabama actually have to play somebody. Ohio State and Louisville don't. Check the schedules. Is Alabama good enough to run the table, probably. Is that easily done in the SEC West? No. Stanford always manages to either shoot themselves in the foot, or get shot in the foot (call on the goal line against ND).
So I'd look for maybe Alabama against likely Ohio State or Louisville. If Georgia beats Clemson right out of the gate the ACC will be finished this year before it gets started because the Tigers are their best shot. F.S.U. could get there but again we are dealing with a self destructive tendency. The Big 12 might have a contender but I figure everybody there will have at least 1 conference loss and with no title game that's a problem.
So, I guess the contenders will be Alabama and L.S.U. from the West, and Georgia and South Carolina from the East. Oregon and Stanford from the PAC (but they are in the same division), and Ohio State from the Big 10 and Louisville still playing a diminished former Big East schedule.

Not that Mora made a good NFL head coach, but he seems to have UCLA on the right track. The Bruins should be able to make to the PAC Championship no worse the 10-2.
