Will the gender changing surgery be covered by Obamacare?

Will he/she then be transferred to a female prison? If he/she is in a female population, is he/she being denied the opportunity to participate in inmatecentric sexual activities?

Does Obamacare cover vaseline?

This news just guaranteed a presidential pardon.

1. Manning has not declared an intention to have surgery (genital mutilation, as you put it) only to take hormones.
2. Growing breasts is probably a great way to make friends in prison.

The Army has already said it's not going to pay for it.

Manning seems great at making changes and throwing things out there.
Guess he has 30 years to tinker around with it.

He won't find a partner either way... The thing is pretty damn ugly either way you "slice" it. I'm just glad the Army still recognizes transgender as a disorder.

He's just being proactive, I'm sure he's going to get treated like a woman and passed around the cellblock anyway.

If I had to go to prison, I'd rather go to ladies jail. Not sure I'd want to lose any equipment for that though.

I just signed a petition to have him released b/c it isnt fair that a transgender person gets locked up for no good reason!

Anyone stationed in a War Zone that blows a TS/SCI Security Clearance just because he wants a clit deserves whatever happens to him.

I bet he's dead within six months.

But what the hell was he doing with a TS/SCI clearance anyway? Was nobody paying attention? I mean, this isn't something he just decided to do on a lark one day. There seem to have been a lot of obvious signs.
