Baseball player shot and killed, killers lament, "We were bored."
An Australian whose dream had been to come to the United States and play baseball lies dead today.

The 22 year-old student from Melbourne, was out for a jog last Friday evening when the three teens began following him in a car and shot him “just for the fun of it,” according to Duncan, OK officials.

Being complete morons, the three Tweeted out, "We just killed another one just cause we were bored."

He also tweeted this. On April 29, he tweeted, “90% of white ppl are nasty. #HATE THEM.”

Strangely this is getting less press in the U.S. than it is getting abroad. Of course the usual poverty pimp suspects are no where to be found, and since it doesn't fit the "White America is as racist as ever" narrative, it isn't getting much play in the media here.

I wonder if Eric Holder will charge these three with hate crimes as he is doing in the Zimmer case. Not holding my breath on that one either.

Well, turn off CNN and NPR, and you'll see that it's all over the news.

Tell me, if nobody hears or reads it then how would they know it's news? Surely you're not defending this because the source might not be to your liking or you hadn't heard about it.

Just curious. Do you think this is a hate crime?

I'll even start with one of your favorite sources.

Why bother defining it, defining the crime won't change the outcome. More importantly it is the senseless and inexplicable loss of life by three really stupid, uncaring, rudderless, immoral kids.

Give me a break, I'm well aware of what happened. It's hard to determine what, if any, of your post is your own original material as any other idiot could have posted the exact same wording on any other message board.

The boys should fry. All three of them, even the driver. Man dont cut them any breaks, try them then fry them. Does the state have the death penalty? Get them off the streets and out of the system for life. That is where they will be anyway.

To follow up. The scary part of his posts is that he said he killed another one! How many others did they kill before they got caught?

Not really a fan of the death penalty, but sometimes I think an eye for an eye is what's needed.

Clearly the message and the source was a bigger concern to you than what happened to the victim. When we wittle away the phony liberal compassion we see that racial outrage all comes down to politics.

The Travon case served the liberal political agenda, hence the faux outrage. This however doesn't serve the liberal political agenda (America is a racist country) hence we get silence and the story becomes yesterdays news.

Murder is murder in my book. The hate crime thing is a tool for the feds to get around double jeopardy. But since the law is on the books, and our attorney general is applying to the Travon Martin case, it would stand to reason it should be applied here too.

You know, if I were so far on the wrong side of an issue as you are I simply wouldn't respond, but clearly you can't help yourself.

If your wife/girlfriend/son/daughter were shot in the head by a bunch of gang banging thugs I highly doubt you'd be worrying about who was reporting the news. Dead is dead, evil is evil, wrong is wrong. If you can't comprehend that without weighing it against your "progressive politics" then your a hopeless dope devoid of any principles.

I get the feeling that if your son/daughter/wife were murdered (nice imagery huh?)you would absolutely be concerned with the political implications. I'm not the one bringing politics into it. You have more anger at Halder, Obama and what you perceive as the left than at the crime. Its disgusting that you are trying to bring your narrow political agenda into this. They caught the killers and I doubt they are going to get off, so what kind of reaction are you looking for? I'm supposed to be mad at Jessie Jackson and Obama? You need to get a grip. We should all be equally outraged immediately and at non affiliated politicians and civil rights activists because of some other case that a bunch of people were outraged about that rubbed you the wrong way...jesus this is just weird.

No, don't be mad at Jessie. The great race baiter and shakedown artist has issued a statement.

“Praying for the family of Chris Lane,” Jackson said Wednesday on Twitter. “This senseless violence is frowned upon and the justice system must prevail.”

Wow, "frowned upon," man that's harsh. When my daughter gets in the cookie jar without asking, I "frown upon" it. But even then Jessie shows more outrage than you. You're clearly more peeved that someone posted this then you are that a completely innocent 22 year old had his brains blown out for no reason what so ever.

You bring politics into it by showing you're more concerned with the source of the info than you are with the actual crime itself. Your lack of outrage tells me all I need to know. Doesn't fit the narrative you prefer.

As for Obama. Seems to me he was right on the phone calling Travon's family, and making sure the audio was distributed to the media. When Sandra Fluck was slandered he was right on the phone to her, and of course made sure the media had that tape as well.

No call to this kid's parents. No call to the 18 victims of the San Diego Mayor/perv. Could it be because he's a Dem? Nahh, no politics involved at all 03-drunk

My lack of outrage at the President for a murder in Oklahoma? And they say our politics are broken. Yes this and the mayor of San Diego grouping women are so similar it takes a real partisan nut not to see that... You don't even care that a kid is dead and that lowlifes have the means and desire to commit random acts of murder you just want to rage on about the President and Jessie Jackson. You've been so filed up with rage from the right wing echo chamber you can't even channel it in a coherent fashion. Something happens --- racism! double standard! Al and Jessie! Halder! Obama! SD Mayor! Liberals! its just the incoherent ravings of a frustrated wing nut failing to make sense of an F'd up situation in an F'd up world by using talking points that don't really fit. Why don't you check back in when they aren't prosecuted and the civil rights community lauds their actions instead of dishonering the victim with your political hackery and cheap misplaced outrage. As far as I know this has been met with universal disgust and anger and rightly so in all sections of this country. It takes a special kind of guy to try and use it as another chance to attack a politician.

I don't see this as not getting any press or being ignored by any means. There have been articles every day since it happened. All three perps involved are being tried as adults, even the 15 and 16 year olds. Also, hard to put a race thing on this since one of the three kids involved was white. Besides, from the sounds of it the victim was not selected because he was white. He just happened to be the first person to come by after the idiots decided to kill someone.

Let the justice system work before we start throwing condemnations at it.
