looks like I got that wrong
I thought Devonte Smith would be the juco point guard who would spell Josh Hagins based on his press clippings. However, in Canada J.T. Thomas led the team with a +/- rating of +14, while Smith had the worst rating of -16. That's a pretty darn important rating for a point guard. Thomas also played the most minutes of anyone on the team, which may be telling us something. Can't imagine that Hagins won't start, but who knows.
