To get us through to the first game, I thought I would get this discussion going.

If you are posting here, most likely your #1 team is UAB athletics, no matter the sport, but who is your second favorite.

To make this interesting, who is your second favorite, whether college or pro, whether football, basketball or whatever sport.

Me:
1. UAB
2. Memphis Grizzlies

Rho Tide - Professional Football.

Alright, just kidding.

My 2nd favorite thing outside of UAB would be MMA, mainly the UFC.

There are several fighters that I like to see win including:

Chael Sonnen, Benson Henderson, Ronda Rousey, Roy Nelson, Dan Henderson, & Johny Hendricks.

Pro Leagues I could not care less about include NBA, MLB, Boxing, Tennis, and Nascar.

I'll watch Pro Golf if GMAC or Phil Mickelson are near the top.

I am watching more & more of the WWE for my entertainment.

I am getting the the point where I am not following any particular NFL team anymore. I am cooling quite a bit on the Falcons.

Pro - Dallas Cowboys No bandwagon native Texan.

2. Atlanta Braves

Clay-Chalkville Mighty Cougars.

Not only do/did my kids go there, it reminds me demographically of my now defunct alma mater, the Mighty Banks Jets.

Braves and Falcons. Grew up with Dale Murphy and Steve Bartkowski.

Miami Marlins. Yes, been a fan since 93.

I am a HUGE New York Knicks fan. As far the NFL I've always have been a Steelers fan, when it comes down to baseball I'm a St.Louis Cardinal all the way.

2. SF Giants

It's been a frustrating season, but two of the last three were quite special.

My least favorite:

1. UAT football
2. LA Dodgers (who are having a fantastic season)

2. Braves

It's a good question. I'm a huge soccer fan, so I would probably put an opportunity to watch a big US game or Chelsea game ahead of UAB. I've also been a huge fan of the New England Patriots forever. So if I had to be honest, UAB would be about 4th on my list.(I have always enjoyed basketball games the most, soccer is probably second, and then football)

It's only called bandwagon fans when the team is good and the Cowboys are a long ways from good so I don't consider you a bandwagon fan

I've always been a football first guy. That's why I didn't pay much attention to any UAB sports until football went D1. Basketball grabbed me during the fastest 40 years. God, that was fun.

I'll watch any football, but find myself more and more gravitating to the Wabash/Allegheny games over the Mississippi State/Kentucky games.

Not a basketball fan but I tend to follow the Grizzlies for some odd reason.
I don't "like" Univ. Tennessee Knoxville but I do enjoy going to their stadium when we play them and I love my Black UT hat with the giant orange T on it. Since my middle name is Tony.
