Alternative music isn't really music. Listen to one album and you've heard them all. I prefer Big, Tupac, NWA, Snoop, Metallica, most 90's country, and slow Jazz. Of all the music I hate alternative is up there with nails on chalk board.

Honestly I always considered Alternative anything that was grunge or post grunge till about 2002. Then EMO and Screamo hit and I stopped listening to anything rock w/ the exception of Linkin Park and Evenescence. Even though I mentioned Green Day, I consider them more EMO than Alternative.
