Nats at Braves - Both 2B are Owls!
Braves started Janish at 2B; Nats, Rendon.

And each gets a hit in his 1st at-bat, Paul nearly doubling his batting average with one swing (only his 2nd hit of the season, on just 13 at-bats).

And then--just to keep the two Owls' connection intact--Rendon commits an error to allow Janish to score.

It seems like every week now I'm seeing a Rendon web gem. Does anyone who follows the MLB more closely than I do think he has a chance to get a golden glove in the future?

Not at the rate he's accumulating errors, too. He's got some good plays, but he's still getting a feel for the MLB pace. But the Nats are living with his growing pains and will probably reap the rewards. After a dry late July hitting, he's back on fire again.
But those errors - yikes. 9 errors in 57 games (56 starting) at 2B, with another 5 in 12 games at SS and 3B. Then again, the whole Nationals team seems to have the yips when fielding, being one of the worst in MLB.

The other extreme is Janish who is a great fielder, but a marginal hitter.

Two words: cold fusion.
